My name is Manuel Gómez (Madrid, 1998) and I am a film director. When I was 15 years old and I was at high school, as part of my final project, I wrote and directed my first short film, Solo Negocios (2014), an story about the revenge of three thugs against the biggest mafia boss of the city of Madrid. Inspired by Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Scarface and Miami Vice, it follows the 80’s and New Retro Wave aesthetic.

In 2019, while at university, I direct Nocturno. Following the story of Raúl, a youngster who comes up with the idea of becoming a superhero, despite having no superpowers, to hide his identity and investigate the mysterious suicide of the girl he is in love with.

In 2023 I direct The Gon Enmity, a teaser to the feature film The Affair of Gon, more mature and introspective project that introduces you to the universe of Gon, a conflictive teenager that is betrayed by his gang and has to rise through the hierarchy of his high school to commit his vengeance.
